With the creation of three new vitoles (Entretiempos, Tapados and Mañanitas), Habanos has re-vamped the Vegueros brand. A lifting that includes a new logo. The blend is more powerful than the original Vegueros vitoles, but remains mild compared to some of Cuba's power smokes. We still find the grassiness, so familiar to this brand. These cigars are young and the blend will need time to open out. One to try and who knows, it may just be what your palate has been searching for.

The Vegueros Entretiempos typically measures around 4.3 inches (110mm) in length with a ring gauge of 52, making it a robust and compact cigar. It is well-constructed, featuring a smooth, dark wrapper leaf that encases a blend of Cuban tobacco. The cigar's construction ensures a consistent draw and even burn, allowing you to enjoy the rich flavors without interruptions.

The Entretiempos may offer pre-light aromas characterized by earthy and sweet notes, with a hint of cocoa and spices. The first third often unveils a medium-bodied profile with a blend of earthy, woody, and subtle peppery notes. The smoke may feature a gentle creaminess that enhances the overall experience. In the second third, the cigar could introduce notes of roasted coffee and a touch of nuttiness, providing depth and complexity.

As you progress to the final third, the Entretiempos may offer a spicier character, along with hints of dark chocolate and a more pronounced finish. The Vegueros Entretiempos is a cigar that pays homage to the Cuban tobacco farmers and their dedication to producing high-quality tobacco.

Unbelievably Smooth

I wasn’t too sure about purchasing these cigars since I usually stick to the more commonly known Habanos. After getting two boxes and letting them age for a few months, these cigars are a surprisingly smooth smoke from start to finish. I definitely think this line of cigars holds up with the more expensive ones, the secret is to let them age. You can taste the woody smoothness once it get’s going. I recommend using Spanish wood cedar spills to light the cigar. The taste won’t be compromised as if using a butane lighter.
