The Romeo y Julieta Churchill is considered THE Cuban Churchill by many purists. This substantial cigar is rustic, almost feral in quality. Initially, exclusively produced for Winston Churchill during World War II, the Churchill is a robust and complex cigar. It is rich and powerful, especially in the middle phase of the smoke which is where it gained its considerable reputation. A demanding Classic Cuban cigar, for the experienced smoker.
Earthy and woody animated by jovial hints of Christmas spice. These cigars are even more appealing in their Tubes.

Still my favorite!
Have been smoking this cigar for 30 years, and while my pallet has grown wider for a smoother smoke, this complex, robust beast is still great. Bold and spicy, not for the novice smoker, but not harsh in any way. Better at the end of the smoke than in the beginning. It likes the smoke draw to loosen up the leaves mid-way through to the end. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because this box arrived with dry, brittle cigars that had not see a humidor for a few years. That's the suppliers fault, not the cigar's. Best with scotch, a big red wine, or cold beer on a hot day. Start with the three pack, and you'll be back for a box. Enjoy!
