Many a smoker will have started their Cuban apprenticeship with this agreeable Robusto. It's floral bouquet, brought out by a touches of gingerbread, opens on a completely unexpected, but pleasing fresh and dry note. This is a medium bodied cigar, but the complexity of blend can sometimes make it feel stronger to the novice palate. The aromas respond well to the fresh air of the outdoors and this Epicure No.2 will be most appreciated on a gentle stroll through the forest.
In general, it's easy to smoke. But it's not the Buddy I'm used to - it's a bit too fast. The flavor comes out faster and more smoothly. In short, it's better than the Buddy I'm used to... so I'm not very happy... Buddy is actually a very elegant brand, and it has even launched cigars called elegant. The light and soft style is suitable for a person to slowly savor and quietly feel the passage of time. But since San Juan, the increasingly thick ring gauge has become less and less related to elegance. After all, it's difficult to cite a rough Secco that even the most experienced practitioners in a certain industry can't put down. The large ring gauge and huge body are not very elegant in terms of smoke output or feel. So if I have to choose a Buddy, I will still quietly review E1 or DC on a gentle night. It is elegant, showing that it has a slow flavor and is easy to cover.
