The TRINIDAD



      Till now Trinidad has been exclusively offered by the Cuban Consulate for Government dignitaries and remarquably important persons. This year Trinidad was introduced to the international market in February 1998. This unique cigar was produced since 1969 by the same factory where Cohiba are made.

      In 1998 Trinidad will be the main protagonist in the large activity program organised by HABANOS SA to record the 21st Century's Eve by "HABANOS on the Threshold of 2000" a campaign that will continue in 1999.

      The celebrations took place in Havana, Cuba from 16 to 20 February 1998. Many VIPs, businessmen, politicians and Hollywood celebrities celebrated the lauch of the new brand. Made from the best tobacco leaves of Vuelta Abajo, the Trinidad cigar has been known only as Le Laguito N'1
