Specialists interested in participating in the event should submit summaries of their work, typewritten in double line spacing and having a maximum page length of 8 1/2 x 1 1. These should include the author's forename and surname, place of origin, country, rapporteur, titles and topics in which they wish to participate. Work selected by the Organizing Committee shall be publicized before December 15, 1998 and shall be included in the résumé book. Slides, films or video-cassettes accompanying the presentations should be delivered by the participants themselves to the audiovisual media reception office of the event headquarters, the International Conference Center, 24 hours before taking part in the work rooms.

Participation costs for the social program and the millennium dinner shall be made known in good time by the Organizing Committee. The registration fee is US$ 250.00 and includes: accreditation and the right to participate in the Symposium, reception cocktail, factory visit and lunches.

The exhibitors and business people have the choice of reserving modular or open-space stands.
