DINNER OF THE MILLENNIUM
This event unprecedented in Cuba with a maximum limit of one thousand guest, will be the climax of the celebration.
As is the tradition, the event will include the "Habano Man of the Year" awards, the auctioning of special-edition cases and the 21st Century Humidor raffle, a humidor containing two thousand Habanos of the 20 brands most in demand. Some of he vitolas selected are virtually unknown, or have not been produced for years. The humidor, the work of master craftsmen and containing a special humidification system, is valued at approximately one hundred thousand dollars.

This event take the form of workshops, masterclasses, round tables and panels held simultaneously in three categories. The categories are:
I. The cigar market in the 21st century
This workshop deal with topics regarding the future of the tobacco market during the next century including.
* International tobacco market.
* Evolution and forecasts for the 21st century.
* Smoker's clubs: present and future.
* Advertising and the consumer.
* Influence of specialist publications on guiding the consumer.
* The right cigar for the consumer of the next century.
* How to enjoy a cigar.

II. Scientific research regarding tobacco
This will discuss the application of new techniques, achievements and the generalization of new projects such as:
* Varieties resistent to disease.
* Tar and nicotine measurement and control in tobacco products.
* Chemistry and technology of rolled tobacco.
* Quality control in factories and warehouses.
* Pest and disease control, chemical and other alternative products.
III. Influence of tobacco in culture and the arts
This topic will be discussed through personal presentations, lectures, videos and round tables related to:
* The art of lithography.
* Tobacco in different art forms: photography, cinema, ballet, literature, painting and videos.
* Cigar collections.
* Tobacco and its influence on the culture of peoples through religion.
Video makers whose work deals with the world of tobacco are convened to take part competitively, these videos having to have been produced during the 90's. The panel will comprise national and international personalities specializing in the topic.
