The most waited Edicion Limitada 2003 are finally ready to take off from the Cuban factories.

Romeo y Julieta Hermosos No. 1: Super Hermoso size (6 1/2 x 48)

Partagas Serie D No. 2: Super Robusto size (6 1/8 x 50)

Hoyo de Monterrey Piramides: Torpedo size (6 1/8 x 52)

These Cuban cigars are made in very limited numbers at Partagas and H. Upmann factories.

Like former limitadas, they have a two year aged wrapper from the top leaves of the tobacco plant. The color of the wrapper is not oscuro like the older limitadas but brown chocolate and dark oily brown which is very pleasant to the eye and the touch not forgetting the incredible spicy limitada smell !

We had the chance to taste a D2 and a Romeo Super Hermoso: These are by far the best limitada cigars from the 3 series already launched, a rich powerful aroma which leaves your lips kind of addicted to the taste all day long.

Caution: There are some fake limitadas on the market as well as Cohiba Siglo VI although these are not launched yet (should be in late June).

The counterfeits are made in Nicaragua and St Martin from dark tobacco leaves, they look like the real but don't taste like any ! Make sure to have the new Hologram sticker on the right bottom of the box. It's a small square with colorful reflexions showing the words Cuba and a serial number in black characters. Make sure where you are getting your cigars from before you spend hundreds of dollars on fakes.  

Habanos has assured us that there were only 6 Mastercases distributed exclusively in Cuba this week, more will be delivered in 10 days. 

Like usual, our clients have the privilege to be the first in the world to taste these new jewels.

The fourth new born is a Corona Gorda from Montecristo. The Monte C comes in varnished cabinet selection similar to its elder brother the Monte A. Very few boxes were put on sale. You can however taste this new vitola in the Limitada 2003 sampler.

A Tasting Samlper baptized Limitada 2003 is available for our aficionados to enjoy. (3 cigars of each vitola)
